Climbing onto my roof rack used to feel sketchy, but this step locks in solidly and gives me a stable foothold every time I load my kayak. The grip is grippy enough even with wet shoes, and it folds up neatly when I’m done. Totally worth it for anyone hauling gear up top.

Finally, I don’t have to play Twister on my bumper to reach the kayak straps. The step grips the door sill firmly and the non-slip surface held my wet boot without a hint of sliding. It’s become my go-to for tying down cargo, and I wish I’d bought it seasons ago.
