Static V2™ Sleeping Pad

I’ve owned heavier pads that took up half my pack, so the fact this one rolls down to soda-can size still feels like a small magic trick every time I strap it on. Woke up without the usual hip soreness on rocky ground, which is more than I can say for pads twice its weight.

Carried this on a weekend trip and honestly forgot I had it in my pack until I set up camp. The one-pound weight makes it a no-brainer, and for that tiny footprint it's absurdly comfortable to sleep on.

Packed down to the size of a soda can and it slides right into my pack’s side pocket—that alone sold me. But the real surprise is how comfortable a pound of pad can be; I slept through the night on rocky ground without a single toss.
